Patient-Friendly Policies

We believe in putting your needs first, so we’ve created these patient friendly policies that set us apart from other physician offices you may have experienced.

Open During Lunch

We know how busy you are and we want you to be able to reach us when it’s convenient for you. We stay open during lunch so you can call us with questions, to refill prescriptions or to make an appointment.

No-Fee for Medical Form Completion

Most obstetrics and gynecology practices charge a fee, usually around $25, to fill out medical leave and return to work paperwork because they can take a lot of time to complete. We do not charge for this service.

No Cancellation Fee

We understand that life doesn’t always go as planned. We ask that you notify us if you can’t make your appointment at least 24 hours before your scheduled time so we can accommodate another patient, but we know that sometimes you can’t. Most offices charge a $25 cancellation fee. We’re different. We don’t charge you a fee when things don’t go as planned.

Patients are seen by appointment – on the same day the appointment is made if possible. To schedule an appointment, please call (727) 376-3798 during regular business hours.

Please call in advance for office visits. Make follow-up appointments as you leave. We make every effort to stay on schedule although emergencies do arise. If we are seriously delayed, we attempt to notify patients beforehand.

New Patients

New patients are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. You can download, print, and complete the forms prior to your appointment. Please bring the completed forms, a list of all medications you are currently taking, recent copies of x-rays, lab results and your insurance card to your appointment.

Medical Records

The office keeps a confidential record of your medical information. No information in that record will be released to anyone without your written permission. This protects you as well as our practice.

If you need copies of your records, reports contained in your record, information for your files, or for your record to be sent elsewhere, you must sign a medical release authorization.


We require payment of your co-payment and past-due account balances at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, debit and all major credit cards.

You can also use our secure Online Bill Pay option to pay current statement balances online without setting up an account.

We will submit claims to most major insurance carriers. Please bring your insurance card and I.D. with you to every visit so we can ensure that our records are accurate.

We recommend that you call your insurance company to verify that we participate with your plan.

Please notify us if you have any change in your name, phone number, address, or insurance as soon as it occurs. And please be prepared to present your insurance card at every visit.

Cancellations or Rescheduling

We value your time and make every effort to see you as scheduled. Unfortunately, deliveries or emergencies at the hospital occasionally cause us to run behind schedule. We will try to notify you as soon as we are aware of a situation that might affect your appointment time. For this reason, we ask you provide us a current cell phone or work number.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can accommodate another patient at that time.

Refill Requests

For refill requests, please call our office at (727) 376-3798. Please allow up to two business days to process your request.

If you are requesting a new medication prescription, please make an appointment so that you can discuss this with your physician. She will want to discuss and alert you to possible side effects or interactions of any new medications.

Pap Smears

If you have made an appointment for an annual exam or a pap smear, please do not use vaginal creams or suppositories, tampons, douche, or have intercourse for 48 hours prior to your pap smear. This ensures that we collect the best possible sample.

After-Hours & Emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911. However, if you need after-hours advice for a medical concern, please call (727) 376-3798 and our answering service will assist you.
